The reason I started up this group is that I would like to meet players that like to play Scrabble and want to have fun with a modicum of using the Scrabble dictionary or any other dictionaries (Oxford, Merriem-Webster...etc) one happens to bring. An emphasis on modicum of use of the dictionary because I don't want to slow the game down. Once every 2 months, we will use no dictionary for looking up words so that we can measure how far we have come without a dictionary.
This group is for people who enjoy a good old-fashioned game of scrabble. It is open to players of all levels.

… Thus, I’ll be scheduling a Christmas dinner for us in December, a New Years dinner in January and a Spring dinner in March, then I’ll close this group down and probably start another group (Scrabble or something). So if you are a Meetup organizer and want to meet other organizers perhaps to joint venture, learn, or just be social, please join us. Ronald Lee www.eatmarketing.com www.expertonvideo.com
